The budget Vietnamese carrier VietJet was fined by the Vietnamese aviation authority after an airborne dance show. To the obvious delight of the passengers, a group of bikini-clad girls danced in the aisles while filmed by camera phones – the result of one such video is on YouTube.
I think the show was to celebrate a new route and sadly not a new hostess uniform. The fine was less than £1000 and seems cheap compared to the publicity generated by the stunt.
I wonder if RyanAir, the super-budget Irish airline, will monetise the idea by offering in-flight lap dances?
