Last Tuesday 24th June, I wrote about the Flying Blue photo competition – there’s still time to enter.
Links to my entries below. Most were taken on my iPhone and looking at some of the other entries, I don’t think I have that much chance of winning. But it was fun to look back a bunch of old photos and choose some for the competition.
The competition rules say that photos will be judged by a panel, but I’m sure it will help to have a few Facebook likes. So if you like the picture and are logged into to Facebook, please click like.
The view from the mountains of Montenegro, looking down at the fjords – I’ve been to the Grand Canyon, USA, but I thought this was more impressive. While in Montenegro, we stayed at Sveti Stefan where there were wasps.
Ducks in, Prague, Czech Republic so many pictures of Prague to choose from and I decided to steer away from the classic Charles Bridge and Castle views.
Trams in Lisbon, Portugal – so long ago when I was there that I don’t have any reviews – was an interesting town though.
A small harbour in Mallorca, Spain – we stayed at the Blau Porto Petro and I wrote about this on Trip Advisor, then when they finally failed to replace my lost laundry, I wrote another Trip Advisor update. So far these have been seen by thousands – so much bad publicity just for the sake of a lost polo shirt.
The beach of the Hilton Hotel, Mauritius, at sunset – a good hotel this and reviewed here.
The Mauritius botanical gardens – I liked this one because there were two girls having a picnic under a pink umbrella.
The Everglades, Florida, USA – I liked this as it looked like an African savannah. For our visit to the Everglades, we flew American Airlines to Miami and stayed in the Hampton Inn, Homestead, Florida.
If you enter the competition, add a comment with links to your entries.
