Putica is a large high-ceilinged restaurant walking distance from IP Pavlova or Namesti Miru metro stations. Despite the size it feels like a cozy place.

Since we first went to Putica on a Groupon-type deal, we’ve been back several times and have always enjoyed the food.

The menu is an eclectic mix of Mexican, American, Italian and Thai. We had quesadilla to start and Thai wok noodles as a main. Another time a fantastic Papardella pasta with pumpkin from the special’s board. They also have a selection of gourmet burgers.

The Spanish house red is 70Kc for a 0.2l glass – the menu shows the 0.1l price. A litre bottle of tap water (might be filtered but we didn’t ask) is 20Kc.

Service is friendly and efficient. Food is good quality. Prices are very reasonable. What more could you ask for?

There is free wi-fi.

Toilets are clean and well-maintained.
