I booked two nights here for two reasons:

We paid $157.88 per room, per night in advance which included a room tax of 8% ($12.63), a state tax of 7% ($11.05) and Georgia Motel fee tax of $5.00.

We drove from Orlando, Florida, stopping en route  at Leesburg, Luke Bryan’s home town. So it was evening when we arrived – although this is a daytime picture.

There were two empty dedicated parking spaces for HHonors Diamond members, although the rest of the car park was very full. Parking was free.

Check in was straightforward, two rooms – there was no mention of our Diamond and Gold statuses, although we were asked if we’d like points or breakfast – we took the breakfast.

The room was okay – the air conditioner was a single (noisy) unit fixed under the window.

There was a microwave, coffee maker and two complimentary bottles of water.

The bathroom was clean and functional.

My room safe was locked, so I used my Son’s room safe. I did report the issue but the safe remained locked throughout my stay.

The first bed in my room was creaky and so I moved to the other one closer to the air con.

Breakfast was okay, although we had to ask twice for silverware.

We asked about a 2pm late checkout for my Son’s room (the one with the working safe). This was mostly because we didn’t want to leave all our valuables in the car while we were on the Walking Dead Studio Tour. The front desk were incredibly awkward about this to the point where we decided to just check out and take everything with us.

If I was planning to re-take the Walking Dead Studio Tour then I’d look at other nearby Hiltons.
