China Live is a large modern restaurant in San Francisco’s Chinatown District. I really liked the food and atmosphere.
We arrived without a reservation, but they had seats at the bar.
A glass of Sangiovese was $13.
Shrimp and Scallop Siu Mai $18.
Red Seafood dumpling $16.
The place was huge and busy.
The last time I visited San Francisco, we went to a more traditional Chinese restaurant called House of Nanking – not geographically far from China Live, but a completely different experience.
I can’t decide which I prefer – probably China Live just because I love dim sum (potstickers).
