V Zátiší is a fine-dining restaurant in the centre of Prague – it’s been a few years since we visited. They have an all-inclusive menu offer, with unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks. We gave it a try.

There are several variations of the all-inclusive menu:

  • Eight meals including water and coffee 895 Kč
  • Eight meals including unlimited Prosecco, wine, beer and soft drinks 1295 Kč
  • Eight meals including unlimited Champagne, wine, beer and soft drinks 2245 Kč
  • Twelve meals including water and coffee 1295 Kč
  • Twelve meals including unlimited Prosecco, wine, beer and soft drinks 1695 Kč
  • Twelve meals including unlimited Champagne, wine, beer and soft drinks 2645 Kč

The eight and twelve numbers are number of dishes served, not courses. The menus offer good value – well except the champagne menu, as unless you plan to drink more than a bottle per person, you would be better with the non-alcohol menu and just order a bottle of champagne from the wine list.

The interior is stylish and comfortable.

The dishes are served in the centre of the table – what Americans would call ‘family style’. There are many Indian influences within the menu.

We were able to choose one ‘no alcohol’ menu and one ‘wine and beer’ menu. I had a glass of Prosecco and then switched to a decent red (Rumors Roble Tempranillo 2015) – the friendly waiter was happy to top up my glass.

Naan bread and Czech bread

Chilled tomato soup, coconut, avocado
Sea bream ceviche, cucumber, basil, yuzu
Lamb tartare tarragon, quail egg

Tandoori tiger prawns, mint-coriander chutney
Lovage gnocchi, mushrooms, sheep cheese Bryndza, smoked oil
Tandoori chicken paratha, tamarind chutney

Homemade ice lolly – served in dry ice
Chocolate cremeaux – which although not the star of the show was the best part

Everything was delicious and we certainly felt like we’d had enough to eat.

Our bill was discounted by 500 Kč – this was an offer during June from Zátiší Club. The club is free to join and offers regular benefits, plus special offers like this one. https://www.zatisigroup.cz/en/zatisi-club-en

I’m hoping the 250 Kč per menu discount offer is extended into July, as I’d certainly return for that. Even without a discount, the menu is good value.
