The Champagne and Cigar Lounge is a sumptuous space above Dresden’s main Neumarkt square. The entrance is via the Classico Italian restaurant, that occupies the ground and first floor of the building.
It’s worth the climb to the second floor for a glass of champagne, cocktail or cigar. You can bring your own cigars without a cover charge, although you’re expected to buy a drink.
Service was friendly but also highly professional. Drinks aren’t cheap, but equally not ridiculously expensive – as the saying goes ‘if you need to ask, you probably can’t afford it!‘
There are two excellent cigar/cocktail lounges close to the Frauenkirche – each within a minute’s walk of each other. If you’re a gin drinker and/or prefer a smaller venue, then visit the nearby Gin House. If you’re a champagne drinker and/or prefer the larger, luxury lounge feel, then the Champagne and Cigar Lounge is the place for you.
