If you’re in Prague and looking for good Greek food at a reasonable price, then Soul Kitchen is the place to go. Just get there early.
The nearest metro station is Náměstí Míru and then it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Soul Kitchen. We arrived at 6.20pm on a Friday evening.
The interior is small and a bright. There’s also a room at the back with just a couple of tables.
Our waiter was really friendly.
A 0.1l glass of Lafkiotis Kleoni Dry Red was only 35 Kč. A 1l carafe of water 55 Kč.
If you need the wine list, just check the shelf on the wall – each bottle has a price attached.
We chose the meat meze plate for two (455 Kč).
Everything delicious. We had to order another tzatziki (85 Kč) to eat all the pita.
We decided there was still enough time for some excellent dolmades (75 Kč).
It was getting close to 8pm – closing time at Soul Kitchen. We asked for two kataifi pastries (45 Kč per) to go and they kindly included a huge bougatsa – this one feta in filo pastry. I’m not sure if this was because they close at weekends – let’s see what happens when we return. And we will return.
There’s only a Facebook site, so I’ve posted the menus below.
