Victor Gallucci, an actor best known for playing DC Tom Baker in The Bill UK TV Series, passed away on the 14th May 2023 aged 81.
Vic worked on hundreds of movies and TV shows, he was never the star, but was always a popular member of the cast.
Vic also organised classic car shows, most notably the Isle of Wight Classic Car Extravaganza – I attended the first event 2003.
Prior to that, Vic organised classic car shows in London’s Covent Garden and also Windsor, Berkshire.
Vic and I met while he was still working on The Bill TV series – probably 1999. I can’t remember how we met, nor the pub we used to visit in Norbiton/Kingston-upon-Thames. He always had hundreds of stories from working on movies.
In 2022, we talked about making a podcast, where Vic could tell these stories and then we’d appear as cartoon characters. The following shows how the cartoon might have looked, followed by some raw footage of a zoom call that we had to discuss the project.
