On Dresden’s main Neumarkt square, the Classico Italiano restaurant spans two floors and has a summer terrace. During our visit, the food, wine and service were good and the prices reasonable for the location.
We preferred the upstairs restaurant.
And the place soon filled up with customers.
A 0.2l glass of house red was €6. A large bottle of water €3.50.
Delicious warm bread arrived.
We both chose the Sea Bass €25 with side vegetables €3.50
Everything was really good and exactly what you’d expect from a classic Italian.
If you decide to extend your evening, just climb another set of stairs and you’ll find a champagne and cigar bar.
